I have found my passion in this career, and with that I will continue to learn to further improve my skills.   

Being a people person, I am used to placing other’s priority above mine. To my surprise, this is both my asset and liability with my career in this industry. For a long time, I struggled with approaching friends and potential prospects with insurance quotation and many a times, became flustered when met with objections.

Thankfully with professional guidance from AIA and APPS throughout these years, I have learnt plenty of soft skills and most crucially, the true concept of insurance. I no longer feel like I’m merely pitching a quotation to all of my clients but instead, now I understand that every proposal I share is an opportunity given to me to connect with and to help others. On top of these, the flexibility of this job also allows me to spend more quality with my children, which is more than priceless to me. I am glad that I have found my passion in this career, and with that I will continue to learn, to further improve my skills.
